About Brion

Brion Oxendine is Broker and Owner of one of the region’s largest and oldest real estate firms specializing in commercial and residential sales and property management. Brion Oxendine began his real estate career in 2006 with RE/MAX Real Estate Exchange of Lumberton upon retiring from a 25-year career as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for a family-owned enterprise.


Upon completing his broker certification in 2008, Brion purchased an existing well-established independent-owned real-estate firm of Lumberton, Heritage Realty, of 35 years in 2009. The 35-year-old company was established in 1974 and was one of the largest realty firms in the region. Since 2009, Brion has continued to grow the market and has sustained a stable presence and strong sales force since the acquisition.


Brion has earned two real estate designations, GRI- Graduate of Real Estate Institute and ABR- Accredited Buyer Representative. In 2019, Brion joined forces with Realty One Group, a national real estate franchise firm and one of the fastest-growing real-estate chains worldwide. The firm services all of Robeson, Hoke, Cumberland, Bladen, and Durham Counties with fifteen full-time dedicated sales agents on staff.


Direct responsibility includes all of the day-to-day operations, including a 2 million dollar annual operating budget and managing over 150 commercial and residential properties. Career accomplishments include but are not limited to, the marketing and sale of commercial real-estate to the Golden Corral Corporation, O’Reilly’s Auto Parts, the Family Dollar Corporation, along with numerous other commercial transactions.


Brion is an active civic community leader serving on numerous boards, including Lumberton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, former Board Member of the United Way, member of The National Association of Realtors, LongLeaf Pines and Brunswick Board of Realtors, former member of N. C. Home Builders Association; former member of the Lumberton Tourism and Development Authority, and UNCP Chancellor's Club Member.


Brion attends Covenant Love Church of Fayetteville, NC, and is married to Alisia S. Oxendine of Lumberton for over 28 years with two adult children, a son and a daughter.
